I want to star in a film with Raghu: Sugandha

After starring in a handful of critically acclaimed films, Bollywood actress Sugandha Garg now wants to act in a film with her husband, TV personality and actor Raghu Ram, and says the project might in fact materialise by next year.
Despite making her debut with a group of new faces, the 27-year-old actress managed to grab the attention of the audience with her spunky role as Shaleen in ''Jaane Tu Ya Jane Na'' and went on to star in ''Tere Bin Laden'' and ''My Name Is Khan''.
Sugandha said that she now wants to share screen space with Raghu, the MTV Roadies producer who has acted in ''Tees Maar Khan'' and ''Jhoota Hi Sahi''.
"I have been together with Raghu for eight years and my first job was with him. I think he is a phenomenal actor and I want to do a film with him.
"I have been telling him about the idea but he wants to write the script or get into production. But I am adamant on sharing the screen with him. Hopefully by next year something should come up," Sugandha told PTI.
Raghu has carved a ''bad man'' image for himself with his rough behaviour and excessive use of expletives on his shows, but Sugandha says that her spouse is a thorough gentleman in real life"Asking me whether Raghu is actually like his image in Roadies is like asking a boxer if he goes and punches his wife at home. We all know he doesn''t. Raghu is a complete gentleman," said Sugandha.The actress is now making her foray into the small screen as a co-anchor, alongwith supermodel Indrani Dasgupta, on a travel show to analyse the character traits of Indian men.
